1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderWent to see Dr Cisko for my sons feet pain and she suggested custom orthotics. Once I told her I had Medicaid for my son, she didn’t bother to see if I had coverage through their office, she said she knew it was not covered. She did not offer assistance or further information. Gave me a prescription and a number to call. Come to find out the orthotics are covered 100%. This could have been handled all at one place. Dr Cisko is misinformed and inconsiderate.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderWell because she finally showed up for my appointment. Wait time-not timely; had 9:30 appointment; was there at 9:20; waited half hour for nurse; taken into examine room and waited half hour more for podiatrist all examining rooms were empty. Solved my problem in 5 minutes. I asked about 2 other concerns I had; she replied a. Fungal nail infection won’t go into your bloodstream; hard to cure. I asked for a prescription and she had no reply and walked out of room. I put on my shoes and found exit. Someone at a counter asked if I needed another appointment. I replied NO! And Left the premises. I should not be billed My dog’s vet has more empathy! Rating for Cisco is a -10.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cisko takes care of my podiatric needs as a diabetic, and does an excellent job. When I leave the offices after my appointment, my feet feel better, my anxiety is lessened because of her friendly demeanor, and I appreciate the care I received.

5.0 star star star star starShe was so very pleasant and extremely thorough. She smiled and made eye contact when greeting me which is always a good first impression. The only thing was the lack of time to ask questions. When she explained one item, I had to interrupt to ask a question for clarification. Maybe I have too high of expectations but she did not ask if I had any questions at the end of the consultation. She stood up unexpectedly and walked to the door saying that she’d get me names and information for orthopedic surgeons to get another opinion. As she opened the door to leave, I expected her to come back with those names but someone else came in. I thought if she came in again that I could ask one more follow up question. She did show empathy when she gave me her diagnosis. And again was thorough. She explained things at a level I could understand.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
