MS and Fertility

There is no evidence linking MS to infertility. In fact, most patients with MS do not need fertility treatments to get pregnant. However, some patients may have limited windows to become pregnant due to DMT timing. In these cases, you may need a referral to a fertility specialist.

Some studies show an increased risk of relapse with assisted reproductive technologies (ART) like in vitro fertilization (IVF). If you need ART, your physician will discuss how to reduce your chance of relapse.
