Causes and Diagnoses of Skull Base Tumors
No one knows for sure what causes skull base tumors, but certain risk factors may increase the chances of developing a tumor, including:
- Previous radiation therapy to the head
- Chemical exposure, including arsenic, herbicides and vinyl chloride
- Some genetic conditions
