Neurological Exam
A neurological exam is a non-invasive, painless physical exam to check vision, hearing, coordination, balance and reflexes. Your physician may use lights or reflex hammers to evaluate your neurological health and may also review your medical history. A neurological exam may be used to diagnose or rule out certain neurological conditions, such as:
- Alzheimer's disease
- Ataxia
- Cranial base tumors
- Facial nerve disorders
- Tic disorders
- Trigeminal neuralgia
- Vascular dementia
