Northwestern Medicine Hospice offers bereavement support. It is available from when a patient is admitted to hospice for up to 13 months after your loved one's death.
Bereavement services include:
- Identifying those who need bereavement support
- Providing grief information and support through written material and phone calls.
Grief Support Group
Northwestern Medicine Hospice hosts a monthly Grief Support Group for those who have experienced the recent loss of a loved one. Stories and tips for coping are shared in a confidential, nonjudgmental manner.

Donations
Gifts and donations in memory of someone special provide meaningful support for hospice care. Your generosity can help bring comfort and healing to people receiving end-of-life care.
Hospice memorial donations fund hospice services, pay for staff training and support hospice projects.
