5.0 star star star star starI have been a patient of Dr. Komanduri's for I want to say say close to 10 years and he is extremely professional, he is compassionate, and I feel extremely confident in any guidance or procedures he suggest. He is just an amazing and outstanding physician. I am so grateful to have found him.

5.0 star star star star starOnly seen him this first time but he was very communicative and gave me good information about my concerns and diagnosis. He recommended further testing which I was not aware of prior to my visit. I feel confident that he is very thorough, has up to date knowledge and is expert in this area.

5.0 star star star star starThis doctor really knew what he was doing. I did a lot of research and didn’t have to advocate for myself, like I’ve had to do with other doctors. He ruled out a lot and scheduled two tests.

5.0 star star star star starAside from my recent appointment with Dr. Komanduri, I had past experience with him. In addition to office visits, he performed four endoscopies on me. When the fourth exam revealed the presence of cancer cells, he had me return to his office to give me the information, rather than tell me over the phone. I've always liked his manner and his expertise.

5.0 star star star star starTerrific at what he does. Listened to all I had to say and answered a couple questions I had. I feel much more at ease after meeting with him and knowing our next steps in my care plan. He did seem a tad rushed. And I was 15 minutes early so if anything my timely arrival should have helped keep the schedule on track.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
