5.0 star star star star starDana is terrific! She spends a lot of time, trying to get my arthritic right hand stronger and loosened up. I already see improvements in my dexterity. I really look forward to my appointments with her. Dana is an outstanding reflection on the hospital.

5.0 star star star star starDana was extremely knowledgeable regarding my treatment. She took the time to provide training to me for a home exercise program. She fabricated a very comfortable and well fitting hand splint and provided resources for any other splints that may be helpful to me in the future. She was friendly and welcoming and I feel very grateful that she was my OT today. She is exceptional!

5.0 star star star star starDana Silver is an excellent Occupational therapist. She is very knowledgeable and thorough with her expertise. Furthermore she is extremely empathetic with all her patients. I had hand surgery with some medical problems that included chronic regional pain syndrome that also effects my whole body. She demonstrated her professionalism and skills with such calming and nurturing empathy and TLC. She was able to get my hand to move with ROM and get me back to being able to strengthen it so that I can get back to daily living and future activities. She even loves to learn new languages. She deserves a raise and recognition for her outstanding medical training and skills and communication skills. She is empathetic and will be missed by me when I’m done with my OT. She is an excellent human being and loves what she does to assist patients to getting back to their daily lives and their daily activities…!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
