5.0 star star star star starDr. Zardkoohi took a lot of time (about an hour) to meet with me and my wife during our consultation. He listened to my Afib story, answered all of our questions, asked me questions, explained things in understandable terms, and presented different options for my plan moving forward. He was very professional, relaxed, and down to earth during our discussion.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zardkoohi was very patient with me and listened to my concerns to help me feel better. He navigated my concerns by pinpointing something that I knew I had but had been ignored by other practitioners for years. He is a great doctor, and is always willing to help.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zardkoohi was kind, a good listener, and teacher. I saw him for a second opinion and he spent more time with me in our visit than my previous EP did in the entire year’s worth of appointments I had. Dr. Zardkoohi explained his clinical recommendations and helped me better understand my condition. I valued his input and knowledge. He put in place a plan of care and a future plan should additional issues arise. I can tell he is passionate about what he does and I’m grateful for his time.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Zardkoohi alway demonstrates a sincere interest in my health. I especially appreciate the time he takes to provide me with a through review of my tests and condition as well as giving me plenty of opportunity and time to ask questions. This is in addition to his professional approach to my care and while conducting procedures. He is a great physician.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
