Dr. De Freitas has a lot of knowledge and experience with the heart issues I have. He is compassionate and has a common sense approach. He has spent appropriate time with me and really makes sure all my questions are answered.

Excelent doctor. He takes the time for each appointment. As such, the appointments never feel rushed. I also appreciate how conservative he is- always doing what's best for the paitent and never rushing into anything.

Dr De Freitas has ben my cardiologist since 2009. During that time I had open heart surgery at NMH-LF Chicago and I 've had numerous procedures, tests and follow up exams during those years. He's a Wonderful doctor: thorough, kind, knowledgeable.
