1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI went to see a doctor due to persistent headache, increasing ear and sinus pressure and pain. Yesterday I had a fluid in my left ear, today I already have an inflammation (stated by the doctor but not recorded in the after visit summary). She told me to take Claritin D or Zyrtec D but on the after summary visit wrote Zyrtec or Claritin (not with D). In the summary listed elevated blood pressure during visit (118/83) - did not even mention that during the visit.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderThe worst doctor I ever met in my life! She didn’t even care or look closer to my concerns I have and she didn’t prescribe the medication that I needed to feel better. Awful experience!!!

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first time meeting Dr. Qasem. She was extremely nice and answered all my questions. She left me feeling like I will be feeling better soon after 10 long days of being sick. I would come back to see her again.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
