Dr. Lai is a great doctor. He takes time to answer questions and concerns, as well as explains things clearly providing options and possible outcomes of treatment. Great bedside manner too. Would absolutely recommend Dr Lai.

I was sent over from Diagnostics because I had a kidney stone at the top of my kidney. I was told I needed surgery. They kept me overnight and Dr. Lai operated the next morning. He was kind and caring. I had another operation to take out the stone and it was successful. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Lai has just the right blend of friendly personality and medical knowledge. I always feel that he listens and responds in a measured, appropriate manner that gives an accurate assessment of the situation, neither sugar-coating anything nor being cagey or CYA!!!

Extremely thorough and competent. He explained everything about the procedure very well beforehand. I feel that my surgery went very well. He did a great job of informing my family of the status (despite a long delay in getting into the OR). He is meticulous about responding to any questions thru the MyChart app.

this was my first time with the doctor. it takes time to get to know your physician I'm sure everything will be okay but my first impressions were very good. I'll know more after my procedure on the 13th of March. I'm sure it will be fine.
