5.0 star star star star starMy physical therapist is very knowledgeable. I trust her through my journey with my pelvic floor therapy. She also makes me feel very comfortable through the sessions and reassures me throughout the whole process it something is making me feel uncomfortable. We are able to go a different direction so there’s not a lot of pressure to go through a certain exercise. Which helps reduce my anxiety when it comes to pelvic floor.

5.0 star star star star starMeghan does a wonderful job of being compassionate and educating me about how to listen to my body and how to provide it what it needs. She also listens to me with the knowing that every body is unique. I feel like a partner in my healing rather than a passenger to the process. I’ve made a lot of improvement. I can feel the difference in pain and ability to function.

5.0 star star star star starIf I could Meghan D. Carlisle an 11, I would. She makes NM PT the best experience I could ask for. Going into Pelvic Floor PT, I had my doubts. I was under the impression that this is just the way my body was formed, and there’s no way anyone can help me or my situation. Meghan truly listens to every concern or issue I have and works with me to tackle those issues and concerns. I never expected to see the slightest bit of improvement or allow my body to gain trust again. Under her guidance, however, I am progressing. In my daily life, I am able to recognize how much of an impact her care has brought me thus far. She is one of the few physicians that has made me feel completely comfortable in such a vulnerable and private area that is my pelvic floor. And for that reason, I highly recommend Meghan for the best, most professional, and easy going care I could ask for. I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say, she’s been helping me change a piece of my life for the better, and I couldn’t thank her more.

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
