5.0 star star star star starDr. Rupp is very thorough and thoughtful. When we first met, she had already studied my records so she was familiar with my history. It seemed important to her that I not worry about a recurrence of my cancer and that if I had any concerns, she would be there to listen to them. I'm so pleased my former doctor recommended Dr. Rupp and that she is now my endocrinologist.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rupp is a knowledgeable, kind, and friendly physician. She spends sufficient time with me and asks if I have other questions at the end of the office visit. My appointments never feel rushed.

5.0 star star star star starI always feel like Dr Rupp affords the necessary time to have a thorough conversation about my care. She poses good questuions and has excellent suggestions on ways I can tweak my monitor and pump in ways that will lower my A1C

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rupp has guided me in a gentle way to take care if my health. Earlier this year she encouraged me to try a Continuous Glucose Monitor. She knew that I only checked my blood glucose once a day (I am lazy but she NEVER chided me or commented negatively). Dr. Rupp knew how to get my attention, she is so patient and clever! I have been using a CGM since July 24 and today ([date]) my A1C is the lowest ever at 6.6! I think she knew my competitive nature would want to "compete" with the monitor and use it to maintain better control of my sugar/carb intake. It worked! I am soooooo grateful to Dr. Rupp for her gentle persuasive manner to get me to use this system. Dr. Rupp is magnificent in her kind, rather understated manner. She amazes me! Don't let her sweet nature fool you - she is smart and sharp as a whip!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rupp has a wonderful bedside manner. She is patient, explains everything so you can understand, and gives ample opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns. She never makes you feel rushed or that you are just another patient. I have already recommended her to friends and they also feel the same way.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
