5.0 star star star star starDr. Kaustubha D. Patil was great!! My cardiologist advised that I see an electrophysiologist. Just as my cardiologist shared, all NM Cardiologists specializing in electrophysiology of the heart are excellent and it was difficult to select one of the many at NM. I chose Dr. Patil after meeting him via his video profile. Dr. Patil's manner and communication style are both professional and warm. I had a lot of questions about my recent tests. Dr. Patil took his time answering my questions putting my mind at ease with respect to my condition. I'm very confident that my cardiac health is being maintained by competent and caring cardiologists such as Dr, Patil.

5.0 star star star star starAs stated above... PLUS, he makes his patients feel confident in his abilities and he has a way of making patients understand things better than other doctors. Dr. Patil is only the second electrophysiologist I've ever dealt with. I feel he's far superior to my first "EP".

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
