Dr. Withrow is so relatable, helpful, knowledgeable, caring, and empathetic, and has a great sense of much-needed humor. Dr. [ ] recommended him to me, and he was spot-on again with his recommendations for doctors.

He is very caring and listens well. He has enough experience with other patients to be able to advise a current patient on behaviors that are helpful or detrimental to their present situation. He also has patience with those people who keep repeating the same problems. Some behaviors are so ingrained in a person that repeated therapies are necessary.

Check my previous reply’s. Nothing has changed Dr Steve cares about me! A thank you to Dr [ ] my primary care Doctor who recommended I see Dr Steve. 20 plus yests ago, when I could choose my MD. Oh yes that was when I could choose my My Primary Care Doctor. I could get answers to my call, not have to wait 2 days to get back to me. In two days, I could be dead…. You want to improve something, let me call the Doctor’s Office Desk in DeKalb, not in Winfield or Chicago….

Dr. Steve has honed his skills to adapt to the ever changing climate of healthcare. He can do virtual tele-health as skillfully as face to face. He is always caring and sensitive enough to know when to add levity.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
