5.0 star star star star starDr. Attarian has provided exceptional medical care to me for over 5 years. Last year, at this time, when I was having a very difficult time sleeping through the night, he recommended a treatment that has really helped me and turned things around. He is a very attentive listener and a caring doctor. I do not believe that I could have a better neurologist and I am very grateful for his care.

5.0 star star star star starHe is an active listener, has excellent history recall, and compassionate care. Especially, likes that he's a teaching doctor and his clinical rotation residents are engaging in their training under his guidance. Good team collaboration regarding patients care.

5.0 star star star star starThen I saw Dr. Attarian for maybe 10 minutes; possibly 15. He was friendly and personable. So far, so good! (I would like to have been able to take the home sleep study device that day, or earlier.)

5.0 star star star star starDr. Attarian is an excellent doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and really listens. He is my doctor, as well as my husband’s and daughter’s. I trust him to care for us with any neurological issues. He has diagnosed and treated me for a condition that I suffered with for over twenty years. He also ordered an MRI, which showed a mass that had to be removed. He is responsible for finding something before it may have gotten worse. I highly recommend Dr. Attarian as a doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Attarian is a fine physician who communicates with great clarity and listens keenly -- and trains others to do the same. Dr. Attarian is also personable and has a sense of humor, which I value.

5.0 star star star star starNot all doctors are equal in their ability to both provide skilled professional care as well as foster a comfortable rapport based on trust & confidence. I feel that I've received all this from Dr. Attarian.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderHe answered questions but I had to do background research to know what questions I should ask regarding both the results and the recommendations. It shouldn't be assumed that patients have a full understanding of the area of sleep medicine.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
