5.0 star star star star starShe's gotten better over the last couple of years with her bedside manner. I also will never forget that her sleuthing and testing me to see what's going on, found my breast cancer in 2018 (not a mammogram). She's retiring now and I wish her many peaceful years ahead.

5.0 star star star star starDr. DeMatte has provided me with excellent care and is always trying to improve my lung functioning. She takes the time to fully understand my health issues. Unfortunately she is retiring. I will miss her greatly :(

5.0 star star star star starDr. DeMatte is an excellent pulmonologist. She pinpointed my lung issues and is extremely knowledgeable about scleroderma treatments and patients. My own primary care physician immediately calls her when I have lung issues as he realizes she is an expert in her field. This, especially as I am a scleroderma patient.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very thorough. I have gotten more information and help from her then I did for the last 8 months of going to my local doctor. I just wish she was local for me. She is coming up with a treatment plan for me something else my local doctors didn't do very well.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
