5.0 star star star star starHis treatments for my ears are very thorough. He makes sure by multiple times reviewing how the treatment so far has been enough or more work is needed. I feel my ears are not stuffed and my hearing improved almost immediately when his work is completed.

5.0 star star star star starHe focused right on the problem and solution without a lot of needless tests. His solutions were simple and highly effective. He speaks in plain English and is down to Earth. This problem occurs for me about every five years so I’ll just follow his methods, and may not need an ENT again.

5.0 star star star star starThe doctor and PA had a friendly and compassionate demeanor. Doctor Patrick Murphy fashioned a shield for my ear out of a plastic drinking cup and some medical hose, so that I would be able to wash my hair without the stitches getting wet. He was clever in doing this and showed that he valued my need to have clean hair and look presentable. He gave me choices regarding my treatment, whether or not to lance the hematoma; I felt valued by this. Also, my case was urgent and he squeezed me in to see him, even though his schedule was fully booked.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
