5.0 star star star star starFor the same reason I stated above. Dr. Kim has stuck by me and encouraged me any time I felt I needed him since the surgical removal of the nodule found in my left lower lung. He encourages me to continue to work towards breathing without my oxygen as often as I can tolerate it. I found it to be very therapeutic and enables me to walk almost as natural as I did prior to this disease attacked on my lungs, despite what my test results show. I will continue to follow his instructions and advice from now on.

5.0 star star star star starBased on results from a CT, Dr. Kim had a plan to wait for 3 months and re- scan to see if the nodule in question changed. He was very direct and matter of fact at the 1st appointment in November, ‘23. He explained the next steps.

5.0 star star star star starHis PA went over my history, current health issues & status and showed me some of the imaging I’d had which pertained to the surgery I was going to have. Then I saw Dr Kim and he explained the surgery and the technique & approach he would take.

5.0 star star star star starI truly had a great experience with Dr. Kim. During the visit he took time to explain and answered all our questions. He was kind, patient and funny. I work in a hospital and I know how sometimes interaction with a surgeon can be stressful and “as a matter of factâ€. But Dr. Kim was able to see me as a person not just as an another patient. Thank you!

5.0 star star star star starThanks to Dr. Kim I had a very successful operation for cancer. He is very understanding and very professional! He is very personal with family and patient reg as riding surgery and follow up after surgery and flow up contact. The support staff and nurses are excellent with understanding and their personal follow up after surgery and release at home. Very supportive in a tense time with all our family.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
