Symptoms of Psoriatic Arthritis
Each individual may experience symptoms of psoriatic arthritis differently, but the most common symptoms include:
- Inflamed, swollen, and painful joints, usually in the fingers and toes
- Deformed joints from chronic inflammation
- Red, scaly rashes and thick, pitted fingernails. These symptoms of psoriasis, the chronic skin condition, may precede or follow psoriatic arthritis
The symptoms of psoriatic arthritis may resemble other medical conditions or problems. Always consult your physician for a diagnosis.
