Symptoms of Hyperopia
Hyperopia often develops gradually, so it’s important to get regular eye exams to avoid prolonged symptoms of hyperopia. Those symptoms include:
- Blurry vision when trying to see items up close
- Eyestrain and burning eyes
- Headaches after close work, such as reading, sewing or working on the computer
Children with hyperopia may experience:
- Crossed eyes
- Squinting
- Rubbing of eyes
- Difficulty learning to read
