Northwestern Memorial Hospital has been named a National Pancreatitis Foundation (NPF) Pancreatitis Center, one of only 47 facilities in the country and one of only two centers in Illinois to receive the prestigious designation.
The Pancreaticobiliary Program is supported by nationally recognized surgeons and interventional endoscopists,* who use state-of-the-art techniques to treat these complicated diseases.

The Pancreas and Islet Cell Transplantation Program has been recognized throughout the United States for its quality outcomes and innovative immunotherapies since its inception in 1992.
Over the past 10 years, Northwestern Memorial Hospital has the largest and most successful pancreas transplant program in Illinois and consistently ranks among the top centers in the country, with surgeons performing 22 pancreas transplants in 2015. Transplant patient and graft outcomes continue to be excellent and compare favorably with local, regional and national outcomes.
