The American Heart Association (AHA) started the Addressing Recurrent Pericarditis Initiative . It aims to improve care and treatment options for pericarditis. Only 15 care sites have been selected to participate in the initiative — Northwestern Medicine Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute is one of them.
