1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderNo empathy shown. He had no idea what could be wrong with my foot and no advice for care other than a foot pad and stiff shoe. I have tingling which means it could be nerve related. Terrible bedside manner.

5.0 star star star star starDr Senall took his time & explained everything throughly. He told me my options & included me in deciding my treatment plan. He suggested the least invasive plans first with surgery as the last resort.

5.0 star star star star starDr Senall is a great doctor. I had him perform 2 other foot surgeries and I am very happy with his work. I would recommend him to any one that is in need of foot surgery. Also, I appreciate that he was able to reschedule me to an earlier time for surgery. The nurse called the day before and told me I was to come in at 2pm for surgery. I was concerned about the late time and not being able to eat because I have acid reflux and I would be all messed up. Dr Senall changed the schedule and I arrived for a 7am surgery. I was so relieved and appreciative that he was able to help me out. Thanks so much.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Senall was extremely professional, provided information that was clear and understanding. Did not guess at anything or suggest anything during the initial visit rather sent for an MRI to assist in his final decision. I really liked that.

5.0 star star star star starAt this point i am 2 weeks post-op, and I've spoken with Senall really just once at the initial appointment, then briefly before surgery. I don't really care about bedside manner and all that for my situation. But so far as I can tell, he did a fine job repairing my achilles.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderMy son was referred to a specialist (Jeffrey A. Senall) because of an ongoing foot issue. Unfortunately, all I was told to keep doing what we’ve already been doing and “maybe†the pain will go away. Regarding custom-made insoles Dr. Senall said they “most likely†will not be covered by the insurance, and are “too expensive†! He juts made the decision for me, that I can’t afford insoles for my child. We were not only disregarded, but also humiliated!

5.0 star star star star starI have been extremely happy with the results and care I received from Dr Sennall for foot surgery I had done in [year]. He has shown concern, care, and willingness every step of the way and to address a recent issue.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Senall listens and is very helpful in finding solutions to my problem with my foot. He did a great job on my left foot fixing a bad bunion and 3 hammer toes and my foot looks fantastic. Now my other foot was bothering me and he was able to help without surgery for now. He is great.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderEssentially dismissed everything, even though I have a diagnosis. Didn't look at my chart to know that I have a systemic connective tissue disorder. Suggested doing things that will hurt me due to my disorder (like getting a steroid shot, and not wearing any type of brace at all). Verbally responded like he was listening but then essentially ignored everything I said. And said to come back if I start having symptoms of what I was diagnosed with. Which I do. Which is why I was there in the first place.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
