5.0 star star star star starDr. Martinez is an awesome person! Very easy to talk to and he makes sure my needs are met. He is well educated and answers my questions but the best part is he will let me know if he doesn’t have an answer and will research and get me an answer in a timely fashion too.

5.0 star star star star starHonestly, I do not want to publicly score Dr. Martinez because then everyone will know what a great doctor he is and want to be in his care which will mean I will have to wait months if not years to get an appointment. Dr. Martinez is very knowledgeable, a fantastic listener, and his compassion for patients is always evident.

5.0 star star star star starI was extremely overdue to see a primary care physician. I had a laundry list of things I need to get checked on. I mentioned this to Dr. Martinez and he took all the time and patience to listen to every single health concern I had. He made me feel very comfortable to talk to. Speaking with a physician, especially the first time can cause anxiety. He made me feel like he’s been treating me for years. Very happy after I walked out. Felt accomplished. Very productive visit.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Martinez listens, and I feel like he cares about his patients. I scheduled with him because he was amazing with my husband's skin cancer. We came in for a growth on my husband's back. He expedited my husband's treatment by sending a photo to the dermatologist of the growth right while sitting in the exam room with us. I've NEVER actually seen a doctor respond that quickly or decisively in office. I couldn't believe it, and I felt like he really cared about my husband's treatment. The dermatologist called us the next day to get him in immediately.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
