In-home therapy is available for people with:
- Orthopaedic conditions, including injuries to the spine and lower and upper extremities
- Postoperative recovery needs after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair, joint replacement and spinal surgery
- Sports-related injuries, balance deficits and chronic pain
What to Expect
First, during a 45-minute evaluation, your physical therapist will identify your needs and goals. With your input, they will create a personalized treatment plan. The plan will describe how often they will visit and how long each session will last.
After you have a thorough assessment and evaluation, treatments may include:
- Hands-on physical therapy treatment
- Customized exercise plans to help increase your mobility, decrease pain and improve everyday function
- Dry needling
- McKenzie method, an approach combining hands-on treatment and exercises you learn to do at home
