Keyhole Craniotomy
A keyhole craniotomy allows the surgeon to see a wide view through a small opening. The principle of this technique is similar to looking through a keyhole to see what’s on the other side of a door. Even a small opening can allow access to a large area on the other side. This technique can be used anywhere on the head to reach a brain tumor. For tumors near the front of your brain, it can be used through the eyebrow.
