Laser Ablation

Guided by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), stereotactic laser ablation works by destroying tumor cells with heat generated from laser light. It can be an ideal choice to treat tumors located in areas that cannot be reached with traditional surgical techniques.

Even if other treatments, such as radiation, have not been successful, laser ablation may be able to eliminate the tumor.
