Brain and Spine Tumor Care - in Spanish
When it comes to communicating values, family dynamics, preferences, and emotions, a lot can be lost in translation. To address the needs of our Spanish-speaking patients at the Lou and Jean Malnati Brain Tumor Institute of Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, we have created the Northwestern Medicine Hispanic Brain and Spine Tumor Program.
The Northwestern Medicine Hispanic Brain and Spine Tumor Program is led by Adam Sonabend, MD. In addition, our clinic includes a multidisciplinary group of neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, radio-oncologists, clinical and administrative staff that meet the needs of the patient in their language and with a warm and personal touch.
Our experts will work with you and your family to develop the best treatment plan possible for you. Our goal is to ensure that you understand your diagnosis and the treatment options available to you. We aim to understand your wishes, concerns and personal needs, and to make your treatment and recovery as easy as possible.
