Medical images are pictures taken of the inside of your body to diagnose, monitor or treat medical conditions. Common imaging tests include:
- X-rays
- Mammograms
- Ultrasounds
- MRIs

No, you can only upload from a computer.
Go to mynm.nm.org. At the sign-in page, enter your MyNM username and password if you have an account. If you do not, follow the instructions to sign up.
If you forgot your username or password, use the prompts on the MyNM login page to reset your information. To learn more about this, see the MyNM Frequently Asked Questions.
Sharing your medical images lets your care team:
- Compare new images with older medical images to see if anything has changed
- Monitor conditions and abnormalities over time
- Avoid repeating tests you've already had
Reviewing your medical images with your care team may help you better understand your condition and participate in your care.

In addition, anyone with proxy access to your medical records may have access as well. If you have any concerns, talk to a member of your care team.
Your care team will review your medical imaging. It will become part of your electronic health record. If you have concerns or questions, please ask a member of your care team.
Yes, you may bring your imaging in to us or have the other office send it to us. Be sure to sign a consent form at the other office to give permission for them to send us your imaging.
You can either upload your images in MyNM or bring the CD or thumb drive to your next visit. You do not need to change the file format.
