Services

The goals of this program include:

  • Identifying patients at high risk for developing osteoporosis, a condition associated with reduction in bone strength
  • Prescreening and providing appropriate treatment when indicated
  • Providing modern advanced osteoporosis care to the complex patient, including those with glucocorticoid-induced, post transplant and premenopausal osteoporosis
  • Preventing new and recurrent fractures
  • Increasing awareness in the medical and lay community about osteoporosis and the long-term importance of bone health
  • Participating in clinical research to further advance the knowledge of and treatment options for osteoporosis

Our unique approach focuses on a thorough evaluation of the patient and emphasizes continuity of care. We offer an onsite state-of-the-art densitometer, outpatient clinic staffed with dedicated professionals and inpatient consultations on hospitalized patients.
