The Sports Medicine team, which is a part of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, provides multidisciplinary, comprehensive care for all patients interested in returning to an active lifestyle.

Physicians on our Sports Medicine team have a wide variety of experience taking care of all types of athletes. In fact, several of us currently provide care for professional sports teams and other high-level athletes. Although patients do not have to be professional athletes to see one of our specialists, they can expect the same high level of care from the team.

We have extensive experience in nonsurgical and surgical management of athletic injuries, including arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. Our goal is to get our patients back to the activities they love as quickly as possible.
