I had past experience with him dating back to the late 90's when I was first diagnosed he got me to a healthy state that lasted for many years. When I recently started having GI problems again he is who I wanted. I have recommended him to many people over the years. A great doctor and person the health care industry should have more people like him.

He was patient with our questions and listened to our problems with other gastroenterologists. But instilling confidence in us is the # 1 reason we are there. Ariel, his nurse, also carried out her duties with proficiency and friendliness and confidence.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hanauer is recognized as one of the leading gastroenterologists in the world, with a special expertise in Crohn's Disease from which I suffer. He has helped me through many difficult situations for which I am grateful. He takes whatever time is needed to explain things to patients, and he does it in a way lay people can understand. He always inquires about other health concerns as well.

5.0 star star star star starHe treated us with respect and listened to our concerns. He explained previous CT results to us and explained a time-frame for my issue. We felt very good knowing that messages would be returned the same day if sent before 5:00 pm. We left the office feeling as if we were finally with a Dr who cared .
