5.0 star star star star starExcellent service always. The length of time he spends , and the concern that Dr. Lechman has not changed in the 21 years I have been bringing my sons to him. I’m so happy that I chose him as my sons’ pediatrician.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderClearly could not be bothered to glance at history on the physical form, "You spent way too much time on this. Just put 'no' for everything next time." I thought he was joking, but then he carried on and said he didn't care if my son had surgery when he was 3. Okay then. Proceeded to ignore all issues indicated on form, including those still ongoing. Had back turned to teen when asking about depression and thoughts of self-harm. Physical exam was fine, and we got our sports physical done, but history taking skills and bedside manner both need work. Probably just didn't want to be there on a Saturday, and it showed. Would not recommend.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lechman is the best! Thank you again for not only seeing [ ] after his fall, but even calling to check up on him after! We really appreciate you. The rest of the staff is also very professional and friendly!

5.0 star star star star starExcellent doctor. Not a ten because he made us wait an hour past our scheduled appointment time and then neglected to even apologize or address it. If this was any doctor other than Lechman this would have warranted a much lower rating. Or I might have just left.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lechman was AWESOME! Great personality and made the appointment fun. Reassuring for first time parents of a newborn. Up to date with all latest studies and guidelines. Patient and answered all of our questions. We were talking about how great he was all week after our last appointment.

5.0 star star star star starWe had been bringing in our son to see Dr. [ ] who was dismissive of our concerns and didn’t diagnose our son properly. We are glad we switched to Dr. Lechman. Dr. Lechman was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. He addressed our issues and we felt better after the appointment knowing that our son received proper care and diagnosis.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
