5.0 star star star star starHe is kind, patient and listens well. He took time to get to know me as a person, in addition to my health situation and concerns. I look forward to him being my primary care physician for many years to come.

5.0 star star star star starAbsolutely! Unlike every single other Northwestern doctor I've met, Dr. Shukla is in no rush and has no intention of judging you or patronizing you. He listens deeply, shares honestly and prescribes thoughtfully. He is a holistic practitioner — open-minded and well versed in a wide spectrum of wellness. The most important trait of a real doctor is curiosity and Dr. Shukla is brimming with it.

5.0 star star star star starDr Shukla gave his time generously without feeling rushed. He was very patient with asking all the questions about my health history and performed a detailed physical exam. He was respectful of me and my concerns and formulated a detailed plan which he explained to me in detail and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. 20 out of 10 on all accounts. He is a keeper!!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
