5.0 star star star star starThere are so many wonderful things about Dr. Ellens: she is friendly, compassionate, listens well and thoughtfully responds, explains things clearly, and does not rush you. She treats me as a partner in my health care, and it is obvious from her questions and responses that she is very knowledgeable about many, many health issues. I am very confident that I am receiving the best care possible!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ellens' Manor is very unrushed and interactive, showing her understanding of the patient’s point of view and shares her knowledge easily while realizing the patient is the ultimate arbiter of his/her choices.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ellens is thoughtful, kind, thorough, with excellent bedside manner and a level of clinical excellence I’ve never experienced with another physician. Our whole family sees her (or someone in her office) and we are so grateful for her care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Jennifer Ellens is the best. I just had my yearly exam and she was very thorough and made me feel like she was interested in my welfare. I did not feel rushed and came away from the exam with some good advice and suggestions for my health.

5.0 star star star star starI feel like I have the world's best doctor. Dr. Ellens is amazing (and the rest of her team are wonderful too). I could write an entire novel worth of reasons why I am so incredibly appreciative and lucky to have her as my general practitioner.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ellens, most importantly, listens thoughtfully and carefully, and offers positive feedback along with medically researched opinions. She is also kind and personable. Despite all my health issues I don’t feel rushed during my appointment and I feel my comments/concerns are important to her also.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
