5.0 star star star star starI liked Dr. Cahan. He spent a considerable time with me discussing my symptoms, listening to what I had to say about my health problems and asking me questions, doing an exam, and so on. I wish that he hadn't suggested there was no connection between my chest pains and having Covid in 2022, just because of the time difference - the body does not necessarily respond the way doctors always believe it will. I do think there is a correlation between my chest pains and having covid. I believe doctors will see this more often as we progress with this disease. But other than that, I found him to be very thorough during our meeting. He suggested further tests, bloodwork, and some medications that I might take for my pain. Again, I appreciated the time he took with me and the care he he showed in completely understanding why I was there to see him and my health issues.

5.0 star star star star starI felt Dr Cahan took his time with me, was attentive and caring. His post visit summary was detailed and very helpful in helping me recall our conversation and next steps. This was especially welcome as someone who’s rememberer doesn’t remember very well right now. 😉

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cahan is knowledgable, thorough, respectful, supportive and he believes in educating his patients. He listens well and explains things both clearly and in depth. He helped me through a difficult time learning some causes of my cognitive difficulties, level of advancement and Alzheimers. I recommend him to anyone who is on this journey of understanding, planning and acceptance. He is a professional with a sense of humor and warmth. I like that in a doctor. I very much appreciate Dr. Cahan.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
