5.0 star star star star starDr Magill took the time to show me my scans and explain what each involved area meant. He spoke in layman's terms, did not mind that I recorded the meeting so that I wouldn't have to write and listen at the same time, he gave clear reasons for his recommended next steps. It was a very positive experience.

5.0 star star star star starDr Magill is wonderful. Explained my results and answered my questions and concerns. I was not treated my surgeon in South Bend when I was first diagnosed back in 1994. He never showed me my MRI or discussed my tumor like Dr Magill did. Dr Magill is excellent and very caring. Can’t thank him enough how I was treated.

5.0 star star star star starHighly knowledgeable and friendly--no question was too simplistic or too hard. He met with my husband and me often and assuaged our fears and anxiety about the surgery. I felt secure and in good hands (literally)!

5.0 star star star star starHe is kind, compassionate, and can articulate complex information in a way that is not intimidating, and you can absorb. I am not a trusting person, and he was able to establish trust with my husband and I very quickly. I feel like he’s a confidant on my team and not like some physician Relationships that are more or less a condescending Doctor/ Patient dynamic. The teamwork and consultative approach Dr. Magill provides is very important to me, especially when I’m making such critical and long-term decisions for myself.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Magill gave a neurological examination, explained my tumor, showed me in great detail the images of my brain, and gave a treatment plan Dr. Magill took time, answered my questions and reassured me. I left the office confident that I was recommended the right Dr. to help manage my condition.

5.0 star star star star starI truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Magill that would accurately represent what an amazing asset he is to have on my medical care journey. I feel so blessed to have his guidance as I make life changing decisions. Kind, compassionate, able to explain complex concepts/ content and forward thinking while keeping me, as a whole person, in mind. He listens intently and responds clearly and succinctly....two attributes that are not often found in the medical field, especially one that is as complex as neurosurgery and brain tumors.

5.0 star star star star starAs I stated above, he’s kind compassionate and can articulate very complex information so that we can be empowered to make good decisions. 5.0 star star star star starSince being referred to Dr. Magill 14 months ago I have felt that he has really listened and answered all my questions at each appointment. I also appreciate that he reached out to the PA in my Oncology team to try to collaborate and make progress to get to the bottom of a tricky diagnosis. She was impressed with him, too. That issue was unrelated to what we found that got me into his office but he helped more than anyone expected he would and I’m grateful.
