5.0 star star star star starBrett has been incredibly helpful and available since day 1 of treatment. He's been the constant center piece through this entire recovery journey. My wife and I have been very grateful for his support, attention, and detailed advice in all of our engagements together. Please share this feedback with him and it really has made a difference for me in this recovery journey.

5.0 star star star star starBrett is fantastic. He is friendly, polite and very pleasant. He always makes sure that I understand my care and makes sure to answer any questions I have. He managed to see me on a moments notice and I really appreciate that he went out of his way to fit me in.

5.0 star star star star starBrett Wassink has been very wonderful to me. He has explained all possible outcomes of my toe’s condition clearly and honestly. He is attentive to my needs and questions as a patient even during the busiest hours of his day. Brett provided me with plenty of bandages, iodine, and gauze and showed me how to properly wrap my toe. Brett also helped me with my pain management immensely and I could not be more grateful for the care/medication I received for the first couple weeks of my recovery. I was in so much pain that my daily quality of life and sleep were affected greatly. Thank you for calming me down when I was anxiously worried about my toe, and thank you for continuing to care for my recovery. I would recommend Brett to anyone.

5.0 star star star star starHe is well read, experienced and kind. He went out of his way to accommodate my schedule, kept track of my needs across appointments and shared what he knew in a way that was legible to a non medical expert. He’s just a great practitioner.

5.0 star star star star starHe’s very engaging and friendly. My son happened to be with me during the visit. Dr Brett had a conversation with him from asking how old my son is all the way to their (my son and Dr Brett) favorite Pokémon

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
