5.0 star star star star starShe was very thorough in explaining details of my surgery, as well as post op treatments. She exhibited care and what my possible results will be. As well as making sure my concern and questions were answered. She made me feel very confident in her ability to correct my problem.

5.0 star star star star starShe's very caring. She listens to the patient. She asks question. She goes through all her notes from past visits, she looks at all the test results and then does her own examination. You can tell she really is there to help the patient. She's not like other doctors I've seen, where they see you and then leave all in 5 minutes or less.

5.0 star star star star starShe's got an excellent reputation and beyond that, she had personal experience with the same issue she treated me for, was very knowledgeable and understanding and easy to talk to. I recommend her highly.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mary Ling is compassionate and informative about how she will perform the surgery and listens to me to do what is possible afterwards to accommodate my professional needs which required the use of part of my hand post-surgery while the part she operated upon heals.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
