5.0 star star star star starToday’s visit is a perfect example. My appointment was at 9:30 AM. A tech was taking my vital signs at 9:20 AM. Dr. Evans was in the room by a moment or two after 930 and spent a good 30 minutes performing my annual exam and discussing my health with me. The visit was followed by a blood draw and by 1:30 PM, the results were up in My Chart along with comments from Dr. Evans. Outstanding.

5.0 star star star star starHe is very thorough and spends as much time with you as you need. He's also very well-informed and takes a lot of time to write detailed updates during the year and his discharge papers are filled with info as well.

5.0 star star star star starMy primary care physician Dr. Evans takes a long time with me and is very thorough, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. In addition, the treatments that Dr. Evans has prescribed for me have proven to be hugely effective, such as the [RX] that completely cured my terrible IBS symptoms, and the [RX] that reduced my cholesterol by 58 %. In addition, Northwestern Internal Medicine successfully refers me to other departments in the Northwestern system when needed, navigating that maze for me.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Evans took an amazing 45 minutes with me. He proactively reached out to me and he is monitoring my progress through my chemo treatments. Although my oncology team does a great job, Dr. Evans reviewed my overall health, gave me great insights and suggested an additional specialist. All of this is as just important as my oncology treatments. Three months ago Dr. Evans saved my life by discovering my cancer.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
