5.0 star star star star starDr. De Leon is attentive and actually listens to the patient. Explains everything from procedures being done and answers all questions. I've been dealing with some skin issues for years and this is the first time I feel like I'm being heard

5.0 star star star star starShe is attentive. She listens and shares all possible causes of the my issues and make a plan from what we would do for now or until when we need to do farther testing. She interacts in a personal manner that makes me comfortable with her.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very kind and put me at ease, a full body exam can be uncomfortable but she was reassuring and asked each time she went to look or do something. Lots of very kind conversation about sunscreen, and all the other beneficial and important things while doing the exam really help me at ease.

5.0 star star star star starReally outstanding teamwork - felt like my time was valued and that they wanted to take good care of my needs. Jessica is kind, friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure I had every I needed. I really appreciate this clinic! I felt nervous and worried this would take forever or I’d be spoken down to but that is not what happened at all. Dr. de Leon and Jessica wanted to empower me to be my own skin advocate and they were part of the team for my health. Thank you!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
