5.0 star star star star starOne of the single most important medical Professionals I am fortunate to have caring for me at NW Medicine, Lake Forrest! My very quality of life has improved since I came under this Doctors care! Doctor McGuire holds my highest recommendation from a patient's perspective, having benefitted from the highest level of quality of care for several major health and quality of life issues that He has treated me for.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI haven't spent enough time with him to really know yet. Once I go through the tests and for a revisit I should know more. So far, I liked that he listened to my concerns and ordered tests to be performed to make sure that everything is ok.

5.0 star star star star starDr. M is friendly, confident and experienced. He was especially kind 24 hours post-procedure. My only suggestion to him would be to advise patients undergoing my procedure to really take it easy for the first week post-surgery (I.e., early recovery period was rougher than expected!)

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
