5.0 star star star star starAPRN Schoolfield was kind and extremely thorough. Sometimes when you have vague and conflicting symptoms doctors will write you off. Must be a virus, NEXT. Luckily for me, APRN Schoolfield did a complete physical and neurological exam. She pushed for a CT scan of my abdomen even though my initial complaint was for Vertigo. CT found a tumor on my adrenal gland. Many (hospital administrators/insurance) may say the use of imaging or laboratory testing to confirm or dismiss conditions is overkill or unnecessary. That could not be further from the truth. Her instincts were 100% on point.

5.0 star star star star starMaggie was very down to earth and very easy to talk to regarding my leg issues. She recommended therapy and a knee brace. I was able to schedule an appointment for therapy on Monday. So glad I decided to go and see her.

5.0 star star star star starShe was great, warm professional, friendly, talked about my medical issues, examine me. She was just such a breath of fresh air from some of the nurse practitioners I’ve dealt with in the past she’s a real keeper for sure.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
