5.0 star star star star starDr. Mark Eskandari -- or "Saint Mark", as I call him (I call anyone who has saved my life, in this case with endarterectomy surgery, "Saint" -- is incredibly compassionate, patient (get it? "patient") and obviously professional. He listens and always comprehensively answers my questions and addressed my concerns. But then I'm not telling you anything you doh't already know, so I'm moving on to the next question. :)

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mark K. Eskandari is without doubt one of the finest physicians I have ever met. He is a brilliant diagnostician and practitioner. Apart from being the best in his field, he is also incredibly astute in multiple aspects of Medicine. He stepped in several years ago and took control of a case and thereby saved my husband’s life on something completely unrelated - a rampant staph infection. I have complete confidence in his judgment, which couldn’t be more reassuring in a physician. I have referred friends to him and they too have had outstanding care from Dr. Eskandari.

5.0 star star star star starListens well, takes time to explain and show images, takes questions, provides clear sensible answers. So grateful to have had consult with him today to avoid a poor treatment decision. Will definitely return under his thoughtful and compassionate care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
