5.0 star star star star starIf I have any questions, Dr. Ahmad answers thoroughly. If I request an increase or decrease in a med, she'll explain in detail on why or why not it's a good idea to increase or decrease the med, or accommodate the request if she sees it as a fit decision. I worry about weight gain with certain meds so we went back and forth regarding q different meds and she really explained to the best of one's ability the pros and cons of both meds giving me the ability to make an educated decision on how to continue forward

5.0 star star star star starShe seems like she really cares about my mental health, & I'm not just another number or patient to get out of the way like some other Dr.s tend to make me feel. I feel her goal is the same as mine. To help me be as mentally fit as I can be.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
