5.0 star star star star starDr Coyne is amazing! She not only listens...she hears you and provides detailed info and medical and lifestyle options. Dr Coyne's knowledge and expertise of medicine and bone issues is exemplary. I left the appointment feeling confident in the plan created by Dr Coyne.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Coyne was extremely thorough during my initial visit. She carefully explained what she had found from reviewing my chart. And she listened intently as I provided additional information and asked questions. Dr. Coyne presented her initial thoughts about potential treatment options and explained the need for a couple of tests that would help guide eventual treatment decisions. I was impressed with the amount of time Dr. Coyne spent with me and her evident concern for my health. After the visit, I sent her a message through MyChart to clarify a medication detail and promptly received an acknowledgment from her. My initial visit with Dr. Coyne was excellent and I look forward to continuing as one of her patients.

5.0 star star star star starI would recommend her because she cared about my process and she asked me questions and gave me options instead of just telling me what I'm going to do and what medication I'm going to take I was asked what I would prefer and I gave her my answers and my inputs and so that made me more relaxed in allowing her to care for me properly I really appreciate that because I realize that I need help however I like having an input in my own recovery process and I will never continue care with a doctor that just gave me orders not allowed me to ask questions or have my own concerns

5.0 star star star star starDr. Coyne has been thorough since I first met her. She looks into all aspects that may be impacting endocrine or bone issues. She carefully rules things out before prescribing medication so that she prescribes appropriate medication. Additionally, she listens to her patients and moves at a pace. That’s safe for them, but also that they can handle. I have found her to be a very intelligent, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

5.0 star star star star starShe's very attentive to my concerns, has a very proactive and interactive approach to treatment, and is both up on the latest research for my condition and open to reviewing newly published information when I bring it to her. I really enjoy my visits and look forward to them every 3-6 months.

5.0 star star star star starDr Coyne is great! She listened to my concerns and explained everything patiently to me. All other staff I spoke with at Northwestern were welcoming and helpful. The entire appointment plus labs took less than an hour which was very efficient. I’m switching to all Northwestern providers now.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
