5.0 star star star star starThe doctor had great energy. He let me know. I did have options. I felt much more comfortable following a path that had already been set for me even though I’m still unsure of what the outcome may be. At least I feel better going through the process.

5.0 star star star star starHe was very compassionate and caring. He spent a great deal of time with us explaining every one of the procedures and subsequent prescribed orders my husband has already had with previous doctors. Then he explained, in detail, what he and our Urologist are suggesting for further treatment and chemotherapy. He gave us plenty of time to ask questions.

5.0 star star star star starIt is all about understanding the patient and Dr. Syed understood us better than we understood ourselves. I mean going in there confused, tired and not knowing anything leaving there happy with smile and planes going forward!!!! I consider myself so lucky fighting this with Dr. Syed

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
