5.0 star star star star starDr. James Kinn is an excellent cardiologist. Right from my first visit, after researching his bio, I knew I would be in good hands. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. I like his approach to my care, which combines correct treatments with practical experience. When a world class MD told me that Dr. Kinn is his own cardiologist, I was even more impressed, as the best know the best. I am so fortunate to have found such a valuable gem!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kinn spends a fair amount of time explaining things and he looks over all my medications before any addition on his part. Even more impressive is his nursing staff. They call to see how you are and they are the closest relationship to my medical needs. And they have a sense of humor!!!

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderDr was rushed to get to his next patient and really didn’t take the time to explain everything to me. He knew he was telling me information that was very surprising to me. He should have scheduled a follow up appointment to go over the next steps

5.0 star star star star starHe was prepared for our first appointment and knew the details of my procedure. A pleasant personality asked me questions and allowed me to ask questions, and I did not feel rushed. He had valuable suggestions, and I have confidence going forward.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
