5.0 star star star star starWith my first meeting with Dr. Wade, Jennifer and his entire staff, I was very impressed with the professional, knowledgeable and courteous feeling they provided. All my questions were answered in a clear and concise manner. They were all so kind during a stressful and delicate situation. Thanks to all who helped me through this day.

5.0 star star star star starBesides being an extremely talented surgeon, he really cares about his patients. It took me two months to decide to go forward with my surgery. During that time, I had numerous questions/concerns and Dr. Wade always took time (~ four 30 to 45 min conversations and response to numerous emails) to ensure I had the information to make a well informed decision about my health care. He was always straight forward and up front about my situation, treatment and recovery even when it was hard to hear. No surprises and no false expectation.

He asked me several relevant questions to better understand my symptoms and what I was experiencing. His explanation was very thorough which put my mind at ease. Outstanding patient experience.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
